The Reliable Company Credential is specifically governed by a set of regulations from which we have extracted the following points:

Active members of the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380 that are up to date with their dues payments to the Association shall be entitled to the "Reliable Company Credential".

Possession of the "Reliable Company Credential" entails a commitment to comply with the provisions and regulations concerning quality and competence laid down by the relevant Spanish institutions, the Generalitat de Catalunya, other official bodies and the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380 itself that are currently in force or may be introduced in the future.

The "Reliable Company Credential" obliges the applicant to accept the arbitration of the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380 in any dispute or disagreement with its customers and to abide by the Association's ruling.

In applying for a "Reliable Company Credential", a company undertakes to pay the dues and contributions set by the Management Committee of the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380 for the running of the organisation and to comply with all the provisions made with a view to promoting and consolidating the credential more effectively.

In order to obtain the "Reliable Company Credential", it is necessary to put in an application accompanied by the following documents:

• Fiscal Identification Code (C.I.F.) or National Identity Document (D.N.I.).
• A photocopy of the company's business tax (I.A.E.) form, depending on the activity it carries out.
• A photocopy of the relevant entry in the Industrial Register (Registre Industrial) of the Department of Industry of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
• A photocopy of the of the latest receipt of payment of the corresponding Social Security or Self Employed contribution.
• A photocopy of the receipt for the company's Civil Liability Insurance.

The "Reliable Company Credential" is valid for one year at a time, but is renewable provided the company in question fulfils the following conditions:

• Fiscal Identification Code (C.I.F.) or National Identity Document (D.N.I.).
• A photocopy of the company's business tax (I.A.E.) form, valid for the year in question.
• A photocopy of the of the latest receipt of payment of the Social Security or Self Employed contribution corresponding to the date of the application.
• A photocopy of the receipt for the company's Civil Liability Insurance also corresponding to the date of the application.

A company shall forfeit its right to the "Reliable Company Credential" in the following circumstances:

a) If it ceases to be an active member of the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380;
b) If it breaches the Regulations;
c) If it has been reported more than twice for lack of quality or service and the complaints against it have been upheld;
d) If it has failed to comply with the minimum business ethics standards in relation to its customers or suppliers.

A company which has been granted the "Reliable Company Credential" by the Gremi de Serrallers de Catalunya, any 1380 may use it as it sees fit within the limits of the regulations. It shall be entitled to have the following items:

• A PLATE that may be mounted in a visible position outside the company's premises;
• Facsimiles of the Credential that may be included in estimates and used in promotion and advertising material;
• Sticky labels with text on them for use on invoices and correspondence.
